This International Women’s Day, we’re asking you to Step Up for Smart Works.

For many women, getting a job is a lifeline. It is a chance to gain financial stability and restore confidence. In the wake of the cost-of-living crisis, the need for our service has never been more pronounced.

2025 marks a milestone moment for Smart Works – the end of our three year plan where we will meet our target of supporting 10,000 women over the year. To raise vital funds for our service, we are launching our inaugural Step Up for Smart Works fundraiser, challenging our fantastic community to walk 10,000 steps every day in March.

We’re also asking our community to Step Up in their own way – whether it’s by referring clients to our service, donating clothes to our client wardrobe, volunteering their time to our cause, or donating funds to keep our service running.  

We’re creating change and want you to join us. Your support will make a huge difference to our work, providing real support to unemployed women across the UK.
