We’re thrilled to announce our 10th Birthday celebration on Thursday 1 October at The Old Library in the iconic Custard Factory in Digbeth, the heart of Birmingham's creative quarter. For an entire decade, we’ve had the honour of empowering over 5,300 women across Birmingham and the West Midlands, providing them with the clothing, coaching, and confidence they need to succeed when it really matters, and to get the job.
Join us as we mark this significant milestone as we enjoy Afternoon Tea, shop our Fashion Sale, reflect on the women we've empowered, and raise vital funds to continue supporting our mission. Plus, we are delighted to welcome our guest speaker Jess Phillips MP for a fireside chat with Smart Works CEO Anna Hemmings, exploring the issues faced by women in Birmingham and how Smart Works provides opportunities to change the lives of women needing our help in the region. The afternoon will be a chance to not only celebrate how far we’ve come but also to look forward to the future and to the many more lives we’ll continue to change together.
Guests will be treated to a welcome drink, Afternoon Tea, and a chance to shop our famous Fashion Sale as well as hear from Jess Phillips MP in conversation with Smart Works CEO Anna Hemmings. Expect an unforgettable afternoon filled with joy, inspiration and community spirit. It’s a celebration you won’t want to miss!
