At Smart Works Birmingham, we don’t give handouts, we give women the hand they need to rise. A Handheld, Not a Handout is our campaign to support unemployed women across the West Midlands to feel strong, capable, and ready for work. Through one-to-one coaching, interview preparation, and a confidence-boosting outfit, each woman finds the belief that she can succeed. Together, we’re not just changing wardrobes, we’re changing lives.
