A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part time Centre Manager to join our team at Smart Works Birmingham. This is a 12-month, fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

Smart Works Birmingham is part of Smart Works Charity, a UK charity that provides high quality interview clothes, styling advice and interview coaching for women in need. We give women the confidence, the self-belief and the practical tools they require to succeed at interview and start a
new chapter in their lives.

Launched in August 2016, we have helped over 1,600 women and we are incredibly proud that after a visit to Smart Works Birmingham, over one in two of the women go on to succeed at their job interview.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role will require a self-starting and proactive individual with excellent organisational skills to drive the charity forward. The right candidate will be able to build strong working relationships with our Chair and Board of Trustees, as well as staff of Smart Works HQ.

This is a job share with one other full time member of staff, the successful candidate will receive full training and support when starting.

A highly organised and positive individual, you will be passionate about empowering women to thrive in work and life. You will be a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, be able to multi-task, think on your feet and bring a determination to meet our aim of helping as many women as we can back into work. You will be confident in using IT to manage operations.

The role is based at Smart Works Birmingham in Digbeth, Tuesday to Thursday 9am – 5pm, with occasional evening and occasional weekend work at fundraising events and meetings.
