A fantastic opportunity has arisen for three dynamic and focused individuals to join the Smart Works Birmingham Board as Trustees.
Smart Works Birmingham is part of Smart Works Charity, a dynamic, high profile and fastgrowing UK charity that dresses and coaches unemployed women in need for success at their job interview.
We empower each woman by giving her the clothes and the confidence she needs to succeed. After visiting Smart Works, over 60% of our clients secure a job within a month, gaining financial independence and thus helping to transform their lives.
Do you want to help support women from Birmingham and the West Midlands? Are you passionate about Smart Works and looking for a challenge?
We are looking for three new trustees. Two positions are specifically replacements of current roles.
- Treasurer (who must be a qualified accountant)
- A trustee to lead on Grant Applications
These are to replace two Trustees who will have completed 5 years in March 2022, when they wish to step down.
- An additional Trustee, ideally with some retail background, to add to our compact and very active current Board, taking it from six to seven.
You will bring your experience, your contacts and your energy to Smart Works Birmingham.
This is a hands-on role. It will be hard work and demanding, but it will also be a fun and rewarding opportunity to continue and build on the work of the earlier Trustees and staff.
